Bio:
Prof. Marek Ćwiklicki is a Professor of Social Sciences (2020) at the Krakow University of Economics, where he heads the Department of Public Management.
He holds a habilitation in management science (2012) and a PhD (2003) from KUE, as well as degrees from the Baltic Sea Management Academy (Sweden, 1997).
He has extensive international experience, including visiting professorships at universities in Italy, Japan, the UK, and Austria.
He is the author and co-author of over 200 scientific publications, and serves as editor of several international journals including the Entrepreneurial Business and Economics Review and Social Entrepreneurship Review.
Research interests:
Circular economy and sustainable development, social entrepreneurship, public management, quality management, university-business cooperation, research methodology.

Magdalena Zajączkowska

Bio:
Dr. Magdalena Zajączkowska has been working at the Krakow University of Economics since 2005. She holds a PhD (2013) on the influence of oil price shocks on macroeconomic stability of OECD countries, as well as master’s degrees in Economics (KUE, 2005) and Law (Jagiellonian University, 2002).
She is the Director of the postgraduate programme Manager ESG at the Krakow School of Business (KSB UEK), preparing future leaders in sustainable development, ESG reporting, and responsible business management.
Since March 2025, she serves as Coordinator of the Centre of Competence for Sustainable Transformation (CKZT) at the Institute of Technology and Innovation Highway (IATI) — a virtual research institute bringing together 51 academic and business partners to develop innovative solutions for the green economy.
Since 2017, she has been Poland’s representative in the Working Party on Nuclear Energy Economics (WPNE) at the NEA/OECD.
She is an active implementer of national and international research projects.
Research interests:
EU energy market, EU climate and energy policy, energy security and its determinants, energy efficiency, EU climate and energy goals, sustainable development.
